Size Guide
Getting the size right is the single biggest difference between a costume that looks incredible in every photo and one that looks like it was borrowed from a bigger dog. It takes about thirty seconds. Please don't skip it.
How to measure your dog
- Back length. With your dog standing normally, run a soft tape measure from the back of their collar to the base of their tail — where the tail meets the body, not the tip. Write that number down. This is the measurement that matters most.
- Head circumference. Measure around the widest part of the skull, just above the ears and below the eyes.
- Have a treat ready. Measuring goes considerably better when there is something in it for them.
Which size to choose

The measurement above is the full length of the costume laid flat, from the tip of the skull to the end of the tail. The tail extends well past your dog's body by design — that is what gives it the silhouette. So your dog's back length will always be considerably shorter than the costume length.
Caught between the two?
Size up. The spine piece is far more forgiving when it runs long than when it runs short. A little extra tail reads as dramatic. Too short reads as wrong, and there is no fixing it once it is on.
